Founded in 2004, The Au Pair Company is a UK limited company.

The site is a family-run business and managed day-to-day by Claire Nicholl, providing a personally monitored service to our host families and aupairs alike.

We are dedicated to providing an efficient, simple to use, competitively priced service to our valued users, many of whom return year after year. 

Our purpose is simple - to enable families to find aupairs, and aupairs to find families.   As such, we are not an agency, and therefore do not provide references or background checks for either aupairs or families.   We are affiliated with a leading international CRB checking company in order that background checks can be obtained to enhance the security of our aupairs and families alike.  (See ’NEW!
